Celebrities are quite possibly the most creative when it comes to naming their children, bestowing some of the most original names ever herd upon their offspring. • Pilot Inspektor – son of actor Jason Lee and Beth Riesgraf
• Kal-el Coppola Cage – Actor Nicolas Cage and wife Alice Cage chose a super name for their super kid. Kal-El is reportedly a big-time Superman comic fan as well as a big-time movie star. The name Coppola in honor of Cage’s famous Uncle, director Francis Ford Coppola.
• Apple Blythe Alison Martin – Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and lead singer Chris Martin of Coldplay are parents to this little girl.
• Kyd Miller Duchovny – David Duchovny and actress Tea Leoni chose this unique and rather on-the-nose name for their son.
• Destry Allyn Spielberg – Director Steven Spielberg and wife actress Kate Capshaw gave their daughter this name, reminiscent of the old western classic, Destry Rides Again.
• Shiloh Jolie-Pitt – Superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie chose the biblical name for their first biological child. Big brother Maddox also has a striking name.
• Memphis Eve Hewson – Of the four children born to Irish rocker Bono, whose given name is actually Paul Hewson, perhaps Memphis Eve has the most unique name. Her siblings are one sister named Jordan and brothers Elijah Bob Patricius and John Abraham.
• Ocean Whittaker – Actor Forest Whitaker chose an aquatic moniker for his son Ocean, who is joined by siblings Sonnet, True and Autumn. Their dad says, “I want those names to be their destiny, for my daughter to be honest and my son to be expansive. I try to be like a forest, revitalizing and constantly growing."
• Kingston Rossdale - The son of rockers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale is said to be named for the Jamaican capital city.
• Gaia Romilly Wise – The daughter of British actors Greg Wise and Emma Thompson was named for Gaia, the Greek earth goddess.

But you don’t have to be a celebrity to give your child an unusual name that reflects their individuality and your creativity. Whether you decide to take the traditional route or give your baby a name that is uniquely theirs, just remember that he or she will be living with it for their entire lives, so make sure it is a name that fits the tiny babe in your arms as well as the senior citizen receiving a pension after a long and illustrious career.
